Editorial: We turn the 50,000 visitors

A bit of "self-praise" does not do badly. The registration of these developments was reflected in our news: in the Bulletin No. 3 in Spanish(12/2002) we have exceeded 10,000; in No. 11 (7 / 2003) 15,000; in the No. 37 (12/2005 ) 20,000; in june/06 (No. 43) 30,000; December 2006 (No. 48) 40,000 and 45,000 last month. That means our growth is steady and the numbers of visitors we welcome and marvel at the same time. That is why we wanted to share them with you. This has to do with our PageRank (Google system to assess the importance of a page that is 5). In this issue followed the epidemic of food contaminated with melamine we write a brief paper on "Comments on toxic adulteration  and Indirect intoxications."(only available in Spanish) Something similar happened to us with the remedies called "natural" and therefore we wrote: "The Natural: Is it safe?".We send our congratulations to the Journal of Toxicology, AETOX (Spain) for its first 25 years of life and to Prof. Alfredo Rovere for his nomination of Honorary Teacher. We also have a lot of news Sertox and contributions to share. The two sections of the press are the most abundant food, thanks to the melamine and related to drugs and supplements, where we highlight an interesting video on bulk production of cocaine in Mapiripán goal. See also Interview to Javier Waksman. We share the celebration for the Day of open access (see). Until the next issue. JCP
